Amy BG Bruhns

How's it going, friend?

My name is Amy BG Bruhns! I’m an actor, director, and playwright born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently based in New York City. I’m here to be your chaotic, goofy best friend, your angsty unknowable teen rebel, or your loveable heartthrob who just can’t seem to catch a break!

My love for performing and creating art led me to move all the way across the country to get my BFA in Acting from Pace University where I’m expecting to graduate in May 2024.

I’m passionate about telling new stories and making theater more accessible and accepting for the next generation of performers. I grew up doing community theater, performing in musicals with a small theater company in my hometown. Now, I work as a director and choreographer for the company during the summer. As I pursue my own career, I strive to empower young actors to trust in their own talents and skills as they begin their journey into the arts.

When I’m not acting, I’m usually playing Dungeons and Dragons, starting a new save file in Stardew Valley, or memorizing facts about jellyfish.
